Missions are awesome!

Dear people who read this blog,

Missions are awesome. If I could just leave it at that I would, but I know my mom wants to hear the details. Haha!

Ok, so, details. We had two investigators come to church this week! It pretty much made my week. Those are the first investigators that I have had come to church thus far, so it was pretty fantastic. All the talks in Sacrament Meeting were focused around finding answers, the Holy Ghost, and the Book of Mormon, so it was great!

Story time! So on the mission we have this nice ol' book we like to call the Area Book. It has information about potential and former investigators and info about the area and its current investigators. So Elder Smith and I decided to look through some of the potential and former investigators and visit them. We went to this one house, and we were looking for a former investigator. We knocked on the door and a lady answered it. We talked and turns out the man had moved. So we talk to her a little, turns out she is Catholic, but we talk about Christ and our religion a bit, and she said we could come back!! It was fantastic. The Lord certianly helped us find her.

Oooo! Another story. So after emails last week we were walking home when this lady stopped us by a bus stop. She asked us if we knew what bus to go on to reach downtown but I had no idea. Then she was like, "Are you Mormons??" We said we were and it sparked a conversation about our missions and missionary work. Turns out she is from Germany and she said she had seen some missionaries before but had never talked with them. She then asked if she could get a picture, haha! But she lost her camera. The idea came to me that I should take one and then send it to her. So I asked and she said that would be great! So I have her contact information! So I'll probably send the missionaries in Germany over to her place :) It was pretty fantastic! When I get a camera cord I will send the picture (along with a bunch of others I've been meaning to send). She is like 6 and a half feet tall!! Crazy right??

Yup, those are the stories for the week. It has been a pretty fantastic one! Please keep E, J, V, B, and A {names removed for privacy} in your prayers. We have been working really hard with them the last few weeks, and some extra prayers would be appreciated.

As far as everything else goes--its great! I love it out here! Its been fun and quite exciting! Hard, a lot of the time, but it has certianly been enjoyable! The other day Elder Smith was on the phone with our District Leader, Elder Lyon, and they were talking about me. Elder Smith said, "Yea, he's always way excited, but that's just Elder Call." Haha, I thought it was so funny!

Thanks for the updates on the fam! Glad to hear everything is going well! Tell Grandma hi for me! I sent her a letter, so it should be waiting for her in Hawaii when she gets there I think! I hope all continues to go well with the family. I love all of you so much! In fact, I can't believe how much I love you all sometimes! I have the best family ever! I love you all so much!

I hope you have a great week and that you enjoy whatever life has to throw at you. Because I can assure you it is for the best! God loves you so much, and is watching over you.

The Church is true!

Love,
Elder Call
