Light saber fights and seeing the US border!

Mom!! Sounds like you two had a blast up in France!! That is definitely a pretty neat experience! Send some pictures when you have the time! Ha, yes that missionary mom said that she knew of you and would email you! Haha, small world! We haven't been able to meet with that girl yet, but we are hoping to set something up through a member of the ward for this week. Hopefully it all works out for the best!

So all is well here!!! How are you?
Doing fantastic! This week was a good one, and time is flying by so fast!

How are you feeling?? Physically spiritually etc
Feeling pretty good! I definitely can't complain about my circumstances. I'm learning a lot and I feel like I am growing in the right direction. Heavenly Father definitely has my back!

What can we do for you??
Emails and letters! I love 'em!! So thanks for emailing every week and for all the letters! I know I probably don't let you know about all the letters I get from you or respond to them, but please know that I do appreciate them!

Best experience this week??
(see Big Kahuna section 1.53a) {haha}

Can you believe we talk Skype in just a couple weeks!!!???? YAY!!!!
Haha, yea that is so crazy!! Its amazing just how fast time flies by!

Did you get your haircut or is the length keeping your ears warm this winter ;) ??
Haha, yes I did get a haircut! I'm a little bit colder, but I'm managing ;)

Things are going good here! I've been hearing good things from a lot of my mission buddies, so its good to hear that they are doing well too! Happy to hear about all the good adventures you are having too! Hope you continue to have fun and make memories! I love you and appreciate all the little things that you do for me. Thanks mom! Have a great week and remember that I love you!

Love,
Elder Call

Dear Everyone,

Wow! What a crazy week here in Southern Alberta! This week we had another baptism in our district. What a great opportunity it is to be a part of this district! I was able to interview her, Myrtle, for baptism. What a special spirit she has. She said the closing prayer, and starting getting emotional. She was so excited and so ready for her baptism.

Elder Pauli and I were asked to speak at her baptism, so we were there helping Elder Konietz and Elder Clabaux set up. The hot water heater wasn't too good, so we boiled a couple pots and needless to say, the water ended up being warm!

It is neat to be in a position to see so many miracles. Elder Pauli and I have been out knocking doors, talking with people, and asking people for anyone who might be interested in the gospel. Our mission is focusing a lot on finding people to teach. Its hard work but I have noticed something. When I put in the three hours of finding that President Nicholas is asking for I feel successful when the day comes to an end. On the other hand, if I don't, I don't feel accomplished, or even happy. Happiness comes as we give it our all, no matter the consequences!

Well, other than that this week I beat Elder Engstrom in a light-saber fight, went to the Canada/US border, and met my first Jehovah's Witness while on the mission!

The Church is true!!

Love,
Elder Call
