Transfer Week - Transfering, but staying in the South

Transfer Week
Leaving Coaldale Canada to somewhere in the South...will find out later this week
President Nicholas called and asked him to be a Zone Leader in his new area

Holy cow?? Only 13 more days?? It is absolutely ridiculous that it has almost been a year that I have been out. I cannot believe how fast it has all gone by. Well, I haven't been able to see the Cardston Temple yet, but hopefully next transfer!! I will be transferred within the south, so I'll let you know my exact area come Sunday! President has also authorized us extra computer time later this week to find out a time to skype home. So let me know what works for you, and I'll let you know the details later.

So, this is Sister Van Dyk and her family. She is the one who pulled out her scriptures for the first time in a long time, and has been reading them pretty consistently. Well, guess what? This week she came to church!! It was fast Sunday this week, and she even got up and bore her testimony. It was such a powerful experience. She talked about how she sleeps better on nights when she reads her scriptures. She talked about the temple. She talked about how its hard having a husband that doesn't want to be part of this church, but she wants to become active. What an amazing experience it was to see her at church, bearing her testimony. As I told her goodbye this week she said she has every intention of continuing to go! Woo!!

This is Tiffany Hood and Lloyd, and their family. What a sweet family! Lloyd isn't a member, but he said he would like to come to church, so he is opening up a bit more every day. Tiffany has been doing so good. She's becoming active in the church again and you can see her testimony growing. I've loved being able to be a part of their lives for a short time. As I left Tiffany said thank you for what I gave to their family, and to go give it to another family. What a great family they are!!

This is the Boykos! Ha, I absolutely love this family! Lee, the father, has been opening up a little more as well. He's even been sitting in on the spiritual messages that we share. Its been neat to be a part of their family. They definitely want to do the right thing and make changes, so hopefully over time Lee will come around and join! Woo!

Haha, this week was pretty sweet! Its crazy to think that time has disappeared so fast. I feel like this is home, like this where I am supposed to be. It's crazy to think that I am leaving Coaldale. I love the people there. Such a great group of people that I have been able to meet. I've been so blessed with opportunities to learn, grow, and share. The gospel is true. The church is true. And God loves us. Hope you all have a wonderful week and a great Mother's Day!

Love,
Elder Call
p.s. How could I forget this?? So, the other day I was on exchanges with Elder Clabaux. We were walking down the street when this guy in his car waves us over, so we go talk with him. He tells us that he is a member, and that he has a brother, and that we need to go over to his house and baptize him. It was sweet! We weren't able to get in contact with him last week, but hopefully next week for sure!!

Oh, and it is snowing today. Welcome to Canada Summer!!

And another awesome side note from me (mom) - I received a text message and photo on Monday starring this handsome face:

This is Sister Stephanie Smelsky and her husband with Elder Call. They have been AMAZING to him! They have fed him lots of delicious dinners, been the deliverers of the cookies I ordered at the bakery, and have loved him like their own! I could never thank them enough!! It is such a tender mercy to receive pictures like this!! Feel the love!!
