Mothers Day, Skyping, and Cardston

We had the BEST talk with Elder Call! It was such an amazing hour!
He looked fabulous and we all loved seeing and hearing him voice.
Plus the best part? We all had a family prayer together!
Not a dry eye in the room, the spirit was so strong.
We know for certain this is right where he should be.
In fact, he told us that although he misses us all a lot, he knows he
should be in Canada, he loves being in Canada, and feels like it's home.
So awesome to hear!!
He is now a District Leader with Elder Madsen and they are both
serving in Cardston Canada, as well as several other tiny towns / villages.
He skyped from the town of Hill Spring.
It's actually a village of 186 people.
Talk about knowing your neighbors!!
He and Elder Madsen live a street over from the Cardston Temple!
Pretty sweet, huh?
Here's his last photo with Elder Pauli in Coaldale.
A dead, gross fox that the sister missionaries put in the elders truck.
They are looking into ways to provide revenge...
The bike he had in Coaldale, with....his initials.
The SC1800!

Hey there mom! It was definitely sweet to be able to talk with and see all of you! I'll definitely use a lot of exclamation points as well! It was great that everything worked out well this time, and that we were able to have some good laughs! I absolutely loved that experience! What a great time we all had together. Its crazy to think that we only have two more of those to go! I'm not sure if you got my mother's day card yet, but I hope you like it when you get it! Sorry its late!

Ok, questions:

Ha, I don't have too many since we just talked!!  But will you find out in the next couple weeks where would be a good place for the S family to drop off a box to you when they come to Cardston?? Do you want them to drop it at the Ward Mission Leaders house? The house you live at? Or??
Hm... I don't know exactly where everyone lives right now, but ask me again next week and I should have a good idea of where they should drop it off at. Thanks!

Have fun branding cows, did you get hooked up with some cowboy boots??? ;)
Haha, I don't have any cowboy boots yet, but I'll let you know if I do get some!

Thanks for your advice mom! And thank you for your testimony. I love you so much! So great to hear from all of you yesterday! Thanks for being such a great mom! Hope you had a great mother's day! I believe in Christ and that He loves us so much. You, me, our family, and all of our other brothers and sisters. I believe that God hears us and answers our prayers. I believe that we can come closer to them through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And I believe that our brothers and our sisters all need this.

I love you mom!

Love,
Elder Call

Dear World,

Happy Mother's Day! None of this should be new to my family, since I got to talk with them yesterday, but I guess I'll update the rest of you.

I'm in Cardston! The Temple is just a street away from our house. Ha, its sweet! There are members all over the place, and we get free food at just about every restaurant. There goes my plan not to gain any weight! The members here are sweet and feed us too much! We cover a whole stake with a set of sisters! Crazy!

So, we are covering a reservation right now, and we found out where the Chief lives. His name is Chief Weezlehead. So we are going to go and contact him this week. Wish us luck!

This Sunday we went to three different wards, which was new and crazy, but I loved it! There are way too many people to remember the names of!

We cover two small towns. Glenwood and Hillspring. Both don't have much more than 200, maybe 300 people in them. They are tiny! And I thought Coaldale was small. But that is different! We do quite a bit of service here. This week we are going to brand some cows. I'll have to talk some pictures. It sounds pretty exciting!

Well, have a great week! The Church is true and the Gospel of Jesus Christ changes lives! I love it!

Love,
Elder Call
