13 months!!

Cardston, Canada
ZL with Elder Madsen
22 missionaries in their zone

I will have pictures for you next week. Promise!! Its know written down in my planner!

Anywho, this week was nuts! One zone joined our zone, so we got eight new missionaries. Our Zone is pretty huge. Its about a two, two and half hour drive from one end to the other. Crazy. But, we're having fun and rolling with it!

We weren't really able to meet with our investigators this week. Elder Madsen met with Jonathan while he was on splits. Donna and Lacey disappeared. So, needless to say things have been a little crazy this week. But time for some good news!

So, we were searching for some of our investigators on the reserve and we ran into Dillon. He's been to church once and been to some FHE activities with our YSA branch. Sweet guy! So we ran into Dillon and talked with him for a bit. We ended up inviting him to hear the discussions, and he said yes! He said we could come over whenever we want to! So that was one of our miracles this week.

Also, we've been teaching another less-active in the YSA branch named Kate. She has been doing really well. She has the best questions too! Our lessons with her are so much fun! And guess what? She came to church this week! It was awesome!

So, this week was good, regardless of all the crazy stuff that happened! We're hoping for a great upcoming week! Hopefully we can meet with Dillon!

The Church is true!!

Love,
Elder Call

{and the letter / answers he sent my way...}
Perfect! I will run it as a credit and take them all out for ice cream. {I told him to take his Zone out to Dairy Queen as a thank you from me for all of the birthday emails that they all sent me two weeks ago!} Thanks mom! They all love you and so do I!! And that is sweet that you went to Beaver High Adventure! I loved that camp! That is the camp where Tyler and I first met Bowen. How cool is that?? That seems like it was not too long ago. Good times! Glad to hear that you were able to have some good times up there and that you were able to make some great memories! And I am so proud that you tried pretty much all of those! Even shot gun shooting!! Right on mom! Did you know that I have used that same zipline? And have probably been repelling at the same exact place?? Sweeeet! Glad you had fun mom! I'm happy to hear that you were able to have that great experience with the testimony meeting. What a great opportunity. Keep working with that Catholic girl! Haha, and cereal and late nights? Sounds like Dad and Zac. I love it!! Haha!

Thanks for your words on my 13 months. I really appreciate that. Thanks a ton mom. And thank you for being a great example to me. Elder Madsen and I have been doing really well together. Its been fun! Thanks for sending those words on. And thank you for praying for me. I love you mom!

Wow that is crazy that another Zone is combining with yours! Does that mean that there are two sets of Zone Leaders? Or? Are you and Elder M still ZL's?
It will still just be Elder Madsen and I. We'll just be over a 22 missionaries instead of 14. Crazy!!

Were you able to make it to the Sargent luncheon / reception? Did you get the bag of goodies that I sent up with them?
Ha, yes I did! Thank you so much mom! Next time you may want to send up a size 36 pants if you are going to keep trying to fatten me up, haha!! Ha, I appreciate the goodies :) Thank you!!

Best miracle of the week?
We had a less active come to church this week! It was awesome. She is really progressing. And we've only seen her two times. She's doing great!

Favorite scripture or spiritual moment?
Mosiah 24. I read that this morning with the question in mind, "how do I deal with my stress." It was awesome. Direct answer to my prayer. {found here: https://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/24?lang=eng Pay particular attention to verses 13, 14, & 15 **see below}

Have you been through a session in the Cardston temple yet???
Not yet! Planning on one this transfer for sure though!!

Hardest moment of the week?
Um, probably just a bunch of little things all building up. Nothing big. Just lots to deal with and handle right now, especially with the new members of the zone. But I am doing fine!! I really am!

Best meal of the week?
Steak!! Mmmmm... :)

A meal you wish you could have sometime soon?
Taco Bell. Homemade salsa. And even more so, your cooking :)

Best piece of advice you can give right now?
Nothing is impossible with God. And God loves you.

Thanks for everything mom! I love you so much and am happy to hear that your week was great! I love you!

Love,
Elder Call

Mosiah 24: 13-15
13 And it came to pass that the voice of the Lord came to them in their afflictions, saying: Lift up your heads and be of good comfort, for I know of the covenant which ye have made unto me; and I will covenant with my people and deliver them out of bondage.
14 And I will also ease the burdens which are put upon your shoulders, that even you cannot feel them upon your backs, even while you are in bondage; and this will I do that ye may stand aswitnesses for me hereafter, and that ye may know of a surety that I, the Lord God, do visit my people in their afflictions.
15 And now it came to pass that the burdens which were laid upon Alma and his brethren were made light; yea, the Lord didstrengthen them that they could bear up their burdens with ease, and they did submit cheerfully and with patience to all the will of the Lord.
