Holy Smokes, we've got photos!

Hey mom! Happy Canada Day tomorrow! We will definitely be celebrating here! Thanks for all the updates on everyone. Everyone seems like they are busy and having a lot of fun! Glad to hear that you are all enjoying the summer! Crazy to hear about all the great things happening at home, and especially the newest missionaries heading on their way so soon! Tell Logan good luck and that he is a stud. He will be a great missionary. (Logan is heading to Panama!)

I was thinking about Mosiah 24, and also about the scriptures that you sent. This last week, I haven't really changed much of anything that I have been doing, but I have felt a lot less stressed. Christ has definitely been taking the burden, and has been making me stronger and helping me along. Thanks for the scriptures you sent, and for helping me to recognize that! Its been a good week.

Its been really good here! I've been enjoying it a lot! Its been neat to look over the last 13 months and think about my experiences here and how the work has changed me. How is the work going in the 11th ward?

Thanks for the emails mom! I enjoy the updates and I love hearing about your experiences. I love how teaching Relief Society was a spiritual experience for you. In D&C 50 verse 22 I believe it talks about how when we teach by the spirit the teacher and the student both learn, or our edified. It is neat to have experiences to teach people. Not only do we strengthen them but our testimonies are strengthened as well! Thanks for sharing that experience mom.

I hope that you have a great week! I love you so much!

Love,
Elder Call

Hey there folks!

Its Canada Day tomorrow! Just thought you all should know!

Anywho, this week was a good one! We have been figuring out the best ways to go about helping the work to move forward in this area. Its been going well! We are seeing miracles!

We weren't able to meet with Jonathan this week but we talked with his wife and she is interested in continuing to come to church and to be taught! I think I told you this already, but Jonathans brother, Cory, is interested too! We contacted him this week and he wants to come to church! Pretty much every native we talk to has another native friend or family member who wants to be taught. Its awesome!! I love it!

This area has a ton of potential! We are trying to meet with Dillon today. He wants to be taught and is interested in making church a regular part of his life. Good guy!

Our Zone is doing great as well! Here in Cardston there are 3 people that are on date to be baptized in July. Its amazing to see that even in a town where pretty much everyone is members the Lord is still hastening his work!

Crazy moment of the week... We saw a bear while hiking Bear's Hump in Waterton! I wasn't quick enough to get a picture of him though. But I did get pictures of us feeding squirrels! Enjoy!

The Church is true! The Gospel is amazing and will bring peace to your life. I promise that anyone who is seeking for peace and happiness in their life can find it through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Love,
Elder Call

And a shout out to soon-to-be Elder Wrigley and Meghan and Kylee-
Thanks mom! Elder Wrigley will be a great missionary. The Book of Mormon will be such a great tool to him, especially his testimony of it. Tell Meghan and Kylee hi for me! I have some overdue letters that I need to send to each of them! Ha! And that's pretty funny about the whole keys story! Did they use a hanger to unlock it?

I miss you too mom! I love you and wish the best for you! You are all in my prayers too!

Love,
Elder Call

Remember the letter from a couple weeks ago,
about Rocky Mountain Oysters?
Well, here are the pic's....don't gag...ewww!

 Success!!
{I truthfully did not know what Rocky Mountain Oysters were at all.
When I found out, I just about gagged...}
Our good friends, the Sargents, were headed up to Cardston for
their daughters wedding. They graciously brought a package from home
to Elder Call. Homemade granola is the best!!
I love that he is always wearing his Grandpa Calls' watch.
He always has his Papa with him.
I love how happy he looks here!
I am so glad that he was able to see Laura and Phil!!
This picture came a couple weeks ago, actually off another sister missionaries blog!
Here he is with his Zone in Cardston.

Elder Call sent a bunch of photos, but I also received a bunch from another
missionary! Like the one above!

Elder Call and Elder Madsen at Waterton, Canada.
Elder Clarke, Elder Call, and Elder Gordon on their way to Waterton on pday.

Love the missionary style Spenc! Black socks with hang out clothes!
Elder Call on the red rocks! Just like at home :)
