Dear World,
Its snowed. Again.
And its cold.
Welcome to the start of Canadian winters.
So, this week was a bit of a crazy one. We worked our behinds off, talked with a lot of people, and tried to be effective and... not much came! It was one of those where you kind of feel how Abinadi did as he was talking to King Noah and his priests. But just as Abinadi had one listen to him, we had a few ourselves.
We are working with this guy named Josh. He is less-active. His family has been going through some incredibly hard times and he mentioned to us how he felt alone. We were able to share with him the love of our Savior, and to tell him that because of the Savior and His Atonement, we never have to be alone.
He showed up to church on Sunday, and he even went up and bore his testimony on the Savior and how we are never alone. It was really neat to see. It was definitely a good experience.
So, always do what is right, even if nothing seems to be going right, because you never know who you are going to touch!
Reach out to the one! The Savior loves you!
Love,
Elder Call
{side note: Elder Call's companion, Elder Jacobs, is from Las Vegas. His mom and I connected and I was able to meet them this weekend! It was such a tender mercy!!}
That is awesome that you had the chance to meet the Jacob's family!! So sweet! They seem like a great bunch. Elder Jacobs is a great missionary. Our family seems a lot like their family. Its kind of crazy actually!! Haha! But I am glad that you all had the chance to visit. That is awesome!!

How is your ward doing? Are you only over one ward?
Our ward is doing good! And yes, just one ward :)
How many meals were you fed this week? What was the best one?
I think just 3 this week. Some members took us out to all you can eat fish tacos though and that was awesome! We also had breakfast for dinner on Sunday for break the fast and that was fantastic!
Would you like me to send some simple dinner ideas so that you and your comp can cook a little more for each other? (it's good husband prep!!) :)
Haha, I would appreciate some dinner ideas! Just make sure they are super simple, haha!
How was your week? I've been thinking about you a TON this week. I put your name on the temple roll on Friday. Fasted for you today. Is there anything going on? Or am I just missing you tons? Let us know what you need or how we can help you!
Thank you very much mom! This week wasn't the best of weeks but I was able to gain a stronger testimony of the Atonement and a greater understanding of it. So thank you for praying and fasting for me, and for putting my name on the Temple Roll.
What did you do for Halloween?? Did you dress up? Trunk or treat - or does this not happen in the college ward?
Haha not much happened this Halloween! We were all supposed to be in our apartments by six! So we cleaned and reorganized and interior designed. Hahaha it was ridiculous! Looks like everyone back home had a blast though! I love it!! Great costumes and pumpkins everyone!!
Thanks for the birthday reminders! I flipped my calendar to the next month yesterday and realized, wow, it is already November! And then, wow, it is Erin and Alexa's birthday!! So, I'll have to send them birthday emails :)
I love you so much mom! Thank you for all of your help. I don't think I even know how much you do for me, so thanks for everything that I don't thank you for! I love you so much! I wouldn't have made it out here without your help, and your continued love and help has been a huge blessing! I love you so much!
Love,
Elder Call
