Hey Everyone!
So, this week was so sweet. So sweet! We had a lot of good things happen. Let me explain.
We started teaching Chelsea's little sister, Katie, this week! We had a lesson with her set up, and invited Chelsea to come along too, and Chelsea brought one of her friends too! Her name is Kirstin. We had a sweet lesson with all of them. Kirstin didn't grow up with religion, and she cried as we talked about her being a daughter of God, and how much God loved her. Katie is sweet, and we invited her, and Kirstin as well, to be baptized. They said that they would pray about it, and would both be baptized when they received their answers.
The Lord always provides!!
We also started teaching Chandler's friend, Alfredo, this week. We had a good lesson with him, and he committed to read the Book of Mormon and pray about it. He was at church on Sunday again, and committed to be baptized when he got his answer too.
The Lord always provides!!
Oh, and Katie, Kirstin, and Chelsea were all at church on Sunday too! They loved it! We had another lesson with them after church. They even fed us Mac and Cheese, haha! Anywho, the lesson was great. They all have been reading the Book of Mormon, which is sweet!! We again talked about baptism, and they are all so prepared! I wouldn't be surprised if it happens soon. Katie and Kirstin both are praying to know when they should be baptized.
The Lord always provides!!
Braden has been doing great as well. He's come so far since we first met with him. Its been a struggle trying to help him find his answers, but he has been doing really well with reading the Book of Mormon and praying. He is a sweet guy.
The Lord always provides!!
Ha, I'll close us off with a funny, but awesome story. So, Elder Prigmore and I aren't exactly the best cooks in the world, so we eat out a lot. Last Saturday, turns out we are both out of money. Ha! Well, I made the comment that we paid our fast offerings, so it will all work out!! And guess what? Members fed us lunch and dinner every single day this week. Elder Prigmore got a letter with money in it. And I found 20 bucks in my wallet that I didn't know I had!!
The Lord always provides!!
So, if you didn't get the point, I'll say it again! The Lord always provides!! Things are going great and I am loving it! The Church is so true! Remember God is always willing to help us. He loves us so much!
Love,
Elder Call
