Hey mom! How are ya? Sounds like everyone is having a happy, grand ol' time back home! Crazy that Erin and Alexas birthdays are pretty much already here! Wow, time flies! Well, I'm gonna answer some of your questions real quick:
What do you do on p day?
Shopping, emails, basketball, all intertwined with bus/bike rides to those places!
Do you ever wear "hang out" clothes on pday or just while you play basketball?
When we are out in public on pdays we are supposed to wear church clothes, so to answer that, nope I dont!
Have you used your jacket yet? If so, how was it?? Do you think it will be warm enough?
Nah, it hasn't been cold enough yet! It got down to -10 degrees celcius (15 fahrenheit, I believe) and it isnt too bad just wearing a sweater and putting on Elder Lloyds little rain coat thing that he left behind!
Dinners - do you still get fed by the ward members a lot?
Yea we do! Anywhere from 4 to 7 times per week, which is way nice!!
What are you in need of?
Hm... not much! Keep praying! I appreciate that a lot! And the letters and emails are great!! I've got the best family ever!!
Thanks for always checking up on me and offering to help! That means a lot! I hope all continues to go well! I love you so much mom! Thanks for all that you do! You are the best!
Love,
Elder Call

Dear friends and family,
Alright. Well, here it comes, winter. Who knew that winter could come so early? Too bad Winter is the kind of dude who shows up early to the party. But, its made for a fun week!
Well, our adventure of the weeks starts last night around 7:32. We had just got back from dinner and Elder Smith and I decided to visit some people over in Beddington. Its about a 20 bike ride on a sunny day. But, it just snowed again so that changed things! It was actually pretty fun! Elder Smith taught me how to drift on my bike when we ride on ice, and I only landed on my rear end once! And we actually made it to Beddington and back! We visited Brother M, the guy who collects sand, so that was good!
Another crazy part of the week was that V decided to move. Kind of a bummer, but we were able to help her pack and teach her 2-3 more times. She is pretty prepared for her baptism, so hopefully transition to the Elders where she is moving goes smoothly.
This week was pretty good though! We are definitely going to start using the bus more, haha! Its quite chilly outside, about -10 degrees celcius, which is about 15 fahrenheit. But I've stayed warm and I'm still alive, so that is good!
Oh, and Halloween was this week too! Duh! We aren't supposed to be out on Halloween past 6, so the whole zone got together and we got to go to the Stake Center and play basketball, which was pretty sweet!
The Church is true! What a blessing that is to go and share that knowledge with the world! Its been such a huge blessing in my life. God loves us and cares for us. Christ is our Savior. The Atonement is real, and has made all the difference in my life. Through Joseph Smith, the fullness of the gospel was restored. How great a blessing it is to know this, and to share this.

Side note:
This week was Elder Call's first companion/trainer's birthday!! (His mom let us know via facebook). So we sent him an email and had previously sent him a little birthday card with some money to take his companion out to ice cream. Here is his reply:

It's always good to hear from others about your son! Elder Lloyd was such a great trainer to Spenc!!
