Parts I to IIX of the Big Kahuna - in pictures!

Big Kahuna Part I
Ok, so my Big Kahuna is going to come through pictures.
So, this is Elder Pauli, Kalan, Rowen (Kalan`s little brother), and Me! We are all pretty big goofballs, so we strayed from the classic way of taking boring baptism pictures and decided to have some fun. It was a really great experience to see Kalan be baptized. Elder Engstrom came to a lesson with me to Kalan once and they clicked really well! So Kalan chose Elder Engstrom to baptize him, and he choose me to confirm him. What a neat experience! The Spirit was so strong. It was so amazing to witness Kalan be baptized, receive the Holy Ghost, and become a member of the church. I am so amazed that Heavenly Father trusted me to teach one of his children. What a great experience!!

Big Kahuna Part II
This is Me, Katie, and Elder Day. When I was serving in the YSA ward we started teaching her and she decided to be baptized!! It was so amazing. I was so happy she chose to be baptized!! Her baptism was the same day as Kalans! It was a way sweet day!!

Big Kahuna Part III
Ok mom, so we did take some ``normal`` pictures. Ha, so this is just me and Kalan, right before his baptism!

Big Kahuna Part IV
This is a picture of Elder Pauli, Elder Engstrom, some of Kalan`s family, and me! We actually had a pretty good turnout to the baptism. Elder Pauli and I were super rushed that day! We had a broadcast from Calgary in the morning. Elder Nelson, the Presiding Bishop, and our Area 70 came to speak to us. We all thought we were getting ipads, but that didn`t happen. But is was still sweet nonetheless! So after that we rushed to make sure the font was being filled up (thank goodness someone was already on top of it!). And then we rushed over to the family history center to make programs for the baptism (it was going to close in 15 minutes!). So by some great miracle we were able to get all of that done and we were even able to eat lunch before the baptism! Great day!

Big Kahuna Part V
Ok, so to top everything off, we had another baptism! It was another YSA baptism. I was able to teach him a little bit before I went back to Coaldale. He was also baptized on the same day as Katie and Kalan. How exciting is that!! So we pretty much just stayed at the Stake Center all day watching people get baptized. It was so amazingly spiritual. I could do that all day every day!! So, Elder Holland also came to Lethbridge, and spoke to the youth. So he`s pretty much a Mormon celebrity and we only had like half an hour before he was coming! So, I`ve never seen an Apostle with my own two eyes before so we stuck around and I got to see him just before he went in! It was awesome!! Great day! Two apostles, three baptisms! Fantastic!!

Big Kahuna Part VI
So this week we also went out tracting to a bunch of houses in the middle of nowhere, and we got some pretty sweet pictures along the way!

Big Kahuna Part VII
Haha, here`s another great Elder Call pose. :)

Big Kahuna Part IIX
So, that was my week. The Gospel is true!!

{yes, he had to get his typical Spenc face in there!}

Wow! That was such a treat to get so many pictures from him! Sounds like he has had an amazing week in Coaldale with Elder Pauli! Reminds me of D&C 90 verse 24 - Search diligently, pray always, and be believing, and all thing shall work together for your good, if ye walk uprightly and remember the covenant wherewith ye have covenanted one with another. Love you Elder Call!! {looking handsome and strong there Elder Call!}
