This week has been a good one!!

Josh came to church this week again and brought his girlfriend, who is a non-member, so that is sweet! She said she would be up for meeting with us! Woo! He is making some really good progress. Such a great guy!

We have been working with a guy named Aaron as well. He has a real sincere desire to change and to gain his own testimony. He has been less-active for years. This week he came to church for the first time in a long time. His sister said that they have been putting so much effort into helping him and that it has been such a long process. She was so happy to be able to see him finally come to church again. And she said that she was grateful for the work that we were doing for their family's life and salvation. That hit me pretty hard. I imagined what it would be like to have a family member go less active, and how much I would desire for them to come back, how much I would work for them to come back. Then I thought that we are all brothers and sisters, and that is what I can do for everyone I come in contact with. That was a pretty cool realization.

So, we've been working on finding new people to teach. We were out tracting this week and we were able to find a few who were interested! Then as we were driving to our next spot we saw a guy who looked like he would be in the YSA ward. So we pulled over and jumped out of the car! We stopped him and started talking with him, and he was really interested in coming to church and to activities! It was sweet!! His name is Austin. So, sometimes you've got to do crazy things to see crazy miracles! It was awesome!!

Oh yeah... its transfer week! I'm staying, and we're giving the boot to Elder Jacobs! So that will be an adventure.

Hey Mom!! Sweet! Thanks for the news on the Christmas package! I'll do that this week! We are emailing today because the family history center is only open for emailing for us on Mondays, so we'll stop by tomorrow to check for transfer notices. But we already know that Elder Jacobs is leaving because he got a call to train a new missionary!! So sweet!! He'll do a great job.

Glad to hear that the family is doing well! Thanks for the update! Sounds like Thanksgiving was a blast for everyone!! Tell all of the cousins that Elder Call says hello and that I love them!! And tell Grandma that too!! 

That is really neat that Dad was able to make that connection with the new Filipino Elder! That was probably really sweet for Dad, and probably exactly what that Elder needed being a new missionary. That is great to have them in the home! 

And yes, I'll be taking more pictures. I took a few this week, but I left my camera in the car... So I'll work on that!! 

Did you buy new, warmer socks yet??

Not yet! I am heading to the store tomorrow for a few things so I'll grab some there!

Same area, new companion! Not sure who he is and I won't know until Thursday... so that will be an adventure!!

Haha, it was -35 with the wind chill this week, so that was pretty crazy! But I'm frostbite free and alive so I'm doing good!!

Did you get fed an American Thanksgiving dinner this year?? {Canadian Thanksgiving is in October}

Sure did!! It was really great!! I love Thanksgiving!!

Mom, I'm always grateful for your encouragement! Thanks for being a positive influence in my life and for helping me out! I really appreciate that. Thanks for being such a great mom and example and friend. Hope that you are doing well. Thanks for being so incredible!
