Hey there world! Merry 17 days until Christmas!

Transfer week is always crazy, so I'll refrain from overusing the phrase, "This week was crazy!"

So, I've got a new companion now! Elder Lybe from Thousand Oaks, California! He's my first Californian companion, and unfortunately he can't teach my how to surf because all the water is frozen...

But, the work is going good! We had a potential investigator come to church this week! So that was pretty sweet! He even took a French copy of the Book of Mormon! Woo! We'll be meeting with him this week.

I don't know if I've told you this already, but we get to go to downtown Calgary every week as a zone to street contact! Oh boy, it is sweet! I had a few neat experiences. I was walking down the street when I saw this girl walking by. She was taking a smoke and my initial thought was, "Nah, she won't be interested." But I decided to stop and talk with her anyways. We had a really good conversation. She told me how she hadn't been religious in her life, so I was able to share why I believed in Christ and how that has helped me, and surprise, surprise!! She said she would be up for meeting with missionaries! So that was really neat!!

I even ran into a Chinese guy who is heading back to China soon that said he would be up for learning more about the gospel! There were all sorts of stories this week of people that I talked to that I didn't expect to be interested in the gospel, but they were! It was great!!

How has your week been? Great!! We've had some fun adventures. Just ask Dad... haha :)

How long has he been serving? Just about a year.

What is his biggest strength? He is obedient!

Did you know your companion from any other earlier meeting? Nope! Didn't know until Thursday afternoon.

What has been something awesome that happened this week?

Stake Conference! We had a potential investigator that came to Stake Conference, so that was pretty sweet!

Biggest challenge of the week? Finding my way around the area, haha!

Have you and your comp opened your Santa hats / 12 days of Christmas yet? (just one each day! or one every couple days! however you choose to do it!!)

Yes!! We love it!!

I know it's early, but do you know of any Christmas plans? Christmas dinner, etc?? And we are available ANY time to skype or call - whatever works best for you. Lex, B, and Ellie are coming here just to see your face!!! EXCITED!!!

Not exactly yet. I'll probably have everything set for sure next week, so ask me again and I'll let you know :)

Nope!! I am doing really really well!

Glad to hear that the family is doing well and that you are all having some fun times. That picture of Zac and Big Hero 6 is a classic! I love it!! Hope that the rest of the family is having some adventures!! Thanks for always keeping me in your prayers. If you could pray for Josef (Yo-sef. He's the one that came to Stake Conference) and that we can meet with Rachel, Austin, Loryn, and Richard this week that would be great. Thank you so much!!

Oh, and we have a little tiny Christmas tree. I'll have to send you a picture, haha!!
