Dear World,
It was a crazy week hear in Alberta!
We went downtown this week, and we were working on giving out He is the Gift cards and bearing our testimony to everyone. It was exciting!!
It was kind of a rough go through that day, not sure why, but there were quite a few who weren't interested and just told you off. But, just keep swimming! I ended up running into a few who were interested in learning more. There was one lady who seemed in a rush, but we ended up having a good conversation, and I just asked if she would like to learn more. And she said yes!! So, sometimes you just have to ask!
We met with our investigator this week. He's Muslim. We had a great visit and taught about God, families, prophets, and Christ. He told us he felt good, and we invited him to read the Book of Mormon introduction when we left.
He walked us out after we were finished, and Bruno, one of the members who came along, asked him what his plans were for tonight. Our investigator said, "Oh, haha, you trying to catch me! I am going to read the Book of Mormon!" Haha, Bruno was really just trying to ask about his night, but I love our investigator's answer!!
So, it was a good week! The Church is true!!
